1st Hong Kong – China Alumni Gathering
On 16 September 2006 more than 30 Napier alumni from both Hong Kong and Beijing gathered for a memorable buffet dinner at the Pass-by Bar, a well-known restaurant set in the traditional Chinese Court Yard in Beijing.
This alumni dinner was sponsored by Dr Stephen Ho the Life President of the Hong Kong Napier Alumni Association.
In his opening remarks, Dr Ho called for more exchanges between alumni in Hong Kong and China and stressed the significance of building a strong alumni network in Greater China.
At the end of the dinner, Jack Huang, Director of Napier China Centre (also a Napier graduate) presented a Chinese embroidery craftwork on behalf of the alumni in Beijing to Dr Ho to thank him for his 30 year contribution and commitment to Napier alumni activities in both Hong Kong and China.
Complemented by great food and drinks, the first Hong Kong-China Alumni gathering kick-started what we hope will be regular events for alumni in Greater China.
